Do I Need a Notary Stamp in New Hampshire?

New Hampshire Notary Stamps – Yes! Required

According to N.H. Rev. Stat. Ann. § 455:3, every notary must have an official seal. Do so with either an embosser or inked stamp. Combine personal preference and best judgement as regards the model type, ink color, shape, and dimensions of your chosen seal implement. These requirements are left unspecified in New Hampshire state statute. However, be aware other states you plan on doing business in might have such requirements specified. Check a corresponding guide.

An official New Hampshire notary public’s stamp or embosser will include the notary’s name, commission expiration date, and the words “Notary Public” and “State of New Hampshire”. Contact an appropriate vendor.
